Sorry

I totally thought that Mom and Day would be updating this, but since the last post in from January, I guess not.
I will forward a bunch of stuff soon.
Sorry to keep everyone so bored.

It was a zoo today

We took several orphans to the Yangon Zoological Gardens on Monday and enjoyed the day with these desperate children. They clung to us (probably coxed) and helped us to spend a great day.

Enclosed are some pictures to brighten you day.

HUMANITARIAN PROJECT

WE ARE JUST FINISHING A HUMANITARIAN PROJECT.

This was the first project that we have had the opportunity to participate in the work.

It is building benches for school children.

The Branch and many of our English class students have helped.

We worked 2 Saturdays to get them all put together.

I don't remember how many we are doing but it is quite a few.

They are going to more than 1 school.

Side notes:
Notice the precision power tools
sanders, nail guns, planer, saber saw, tenon and pin,
Muscle powered that is
How many of our Burmese friends bodies fold and bend
in unamerican ways.
ALL OF THEM!
they are very comfortable in a squating position

I really have wanted to blog

This is my favorite Christmas Tree this year. It is at the American Club.
Our Christmas was great.

We were able to have a Christmas party with the Branch. We had talks and singing and our new Choir did several songs.

We found Silent Night in Burmese. It also had a Romanized version for us Americans.
